The above selection contains a smattering of pieces constructed collaboratively betwixt Ensemble Pamplemousse and line upon line percussion.
These very many sounds were brought to life, processed, mixed, and transformed at UCSD, the internet, and originally at a now-defunct furniture store in south Austin in the heat of Summer 2018.
We miss you KC Grey Home Furnishings, your industrial fans were very kind to us.

Natacha Diels - HERE IS THE PROMISE FROM THE WILD PSYCHE TO ALL OF US
[materials: A Glorious Mallet Front Ensemble, “HOW DO I” Google AutoFill archive, unhelpful self-help, paradiddle-diddle-rara-diddles, hums+shuffles, low-key-evil dance party]
Andrew Greenwald - 198 WORDS
[materials: three detuned snares, fine grit sandpaper, too much hand-eye coordination, modular synthesis, drumset + that important 18" kick, finger drumming, Nord Lead patches, oblique references to midcentury conceptual photography]
Weston Olencki - SKEUOMORPHS
[materials: hacked MIDI drum pads, a DIYed “air-drumming-driven vocal-tract-synthesizer”, realtime LPC encoders, hardware manual recitation, downsampled 808s, Apple’s Terms of Service, and boring graphic design concepts]
Dave Broome - PODS
[materials: tuned aluminum pipes, BeBot, glitter, toy glockenspiels, 10kHz noise bands, funky drumming, THE SNAIL]
Bryan Jacobs - BLOCKS N BIRDS
[materials: Servo-controlled bird calls, headache medicine, a few 3D printers, bit’of’flair, extra-human performance speeds, “definitely not a cymbal endorsement”]
